    Manual OPERATION ELEMENTS 1.4.1 FUNCTION KEYS S1: Paper feed button (Key_Feed) green If the paper feed button is pressed, the paper will not be fed until the printing of a print line has been completed. Then first only one line is fed and then a short pause is inserted. By briefly pressing the key, this enables a targeted feed of just one line.

    Manual 2.3.1 THERMAL PRINTING ON PRE-PRINTED FORMS Thermal printing technology also enables printing on pre-printed paper. However, a few things must be observed to avoid damaging the sensitive printhead. The use of pre-printed paper increases the before mentioned effect. Since the preprinted ink is located between the printhead and the heat-sensitive layer, it must be able to withstand high thermal and mechanical loads.

    Manual MOTOR CURRENTS The printer has 3 bipolar stepper motors to drive the paper transport, the paper cutter and the presenter. The motors are current-controlled and operated in micro-stepping with 8 steps per full step. The motor currents of the printer can be set to values between 20 and 100% using parameters.

    Manual GPT-467x CUTTER MOTOR The cutter motor speed is adjustable via parameters. The cutter starts at 400 pps (adjustable with parameter 22,10) and accelerates to 1,000 pps (can be set with parameter 22.1).     Manual 14.2 NPE NEAR PAPER END SENSOR The reflex sensor GP2S700HCP (IC1) is located on the NPE sensor circuit board. The distance between the paper and the surface of the printed circuit board has to be adjusted to d = 3 mm ±1 mm. When installing, ensure that the sensor could not interfere with lateral reflections.
