REASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT

1 - 11 Installing the lens assembly (7 - 3), front lens assembly (7 - 4), knurled ring
(7 - 66) and hood cover (7 - 204)
1) Thoroughly clean insides of the lens and shutter by means of a blower or
Freon.
2) Apply adhesive slightly to the threads of the lens (about two positions at
point of 1 to 2 mm diameter), and install the lens assembly (7 - 3) and
front lens assembly (7 - 4) securely.
1 - 12 Apply adhesive slightly to the focusing ring (I) (7 - 63) and hood cover (7 - 204)
at the surface where the knurled rings are installed, and install the knurled rings.
NOTE: The knurled rings must be installed correctly without slackness, and
the adhesive should not come out.
1 - 13 After installing the lenses and leathers, check the focusing ring, aperture selector
ring and shutter speed selector ring for their smooth operations.
NOTE: The knurled ring (7 - 66) may be installed after assembling the camera
completely because the set screws (7 - 65) may have to be tightened
at the time of focus adjustment.
