Player state icon – on the right, shows the current state of the player (play, stop, pause)
Connected FTP servers – hovering over an icon will show the name of the server. The color of the icon indicates the connection
status to the server.
Local time is shown on the far right. This reflects the selected time zone, offset and 12/24 hr setting.

Front Panel LEDs

The front panel LEDs reflect activity and status of the CMS:
The CMS status LEDs indicate the bootup, power, tamper, and marriage state of the CMS.
The Q-LAN and ETH port LEDs – the yellow LED on the upper left indicates connection to an active network, while flashing of the
top right LED indicate activity on that port.
Detailed description of all LED states can also be found in Front Panel Features and Power- Up sections.

Content Storage

The CMS-5000 includes local storage for content to be played. The storage consists of
4 SSD memory cards configured to provide RAID 5 redundancy, providing a high level of
reliability coupled with significantly better perfromance compared to standard mechanical
hard drives. Available storage options are shown in Table 6:
Due to the high reliability of SSD memory technology, the CMS drives are not field
replaceable. Detailed status on the RAID storage system is available on the
System->RAID page (you must be logged in as administrator or installer to access
this page). In addition, this data is included as part of the Log package. The RAID
usage and available space is also shown on the Content page when the Internal
storage source is selected.

Viewing Available Content

Content ingest and management is performed on the Content page, available to log
in levels of manager and above. On this page you can view the current contents
of the local RAID storage as well as on attached drives and FTP servers. When
selecting an external source to view its content (especially FTP servers), it may take
some time to complete the initial scan and display the contents depending on the
amount of content on the source. The CMS will automatically rescan FTP servers
periodically to update the content list but the refresh button on the upper right of
the content list can be used to refresh the list immediately. Current scan state
of the connect drives and FTP servers can be shown by mousing over the source
button on the Content page.

Content Status

Table 7 lists the meaning of the icons next to content currently on the RAID or on
attached drives and FTP servers. Orange and yellow icons indicate the items are
currently in a warning state or in operation. Red icons indicate items that are in an
error state or are missing data and not available for playback. In addition, when
viewing content on external sources, content titles in grey text indicate that content
has already been ingested.
