Function
Selects amount of memory available as
base memory below 1 MB. Default value
for the Base Memory is 640 KB, including
1 KB reserved for system use. Alternate
base memory option is 512 KB.
If set to USWC (Uncacheable Speculative
Write Combined), the microprocessor(s)
perform speculative combining while writ-
ing to the VGA frame buffer. Unless a
VGA controller that supports this feature is
installed in the system, set to Uncacheable
(default).
Sets all microprocessors' built-in cache
memory to Write Back mode (default) or
Write Through mode.
Enables or disables (default) system man-
agement mode, including event logging
and ECC memory support.
