Dishwasher operation

Before getting started

• Read chapter „Safety" from page EN-4,
in particular the safety instructions.
• Set up and connect the appliance as
described in chapter „Installation, fitting,
connection and initial commissioning" on
page EN-28.
• Refill dishwasher detergents, rinse aids
and dishwasher salts or multi-tabs.

Preparation

1. Open the tap completely.
2. Close the dishwasher door.
3. Switch the dishwasher on using the
button (1).
All indicators will initially light up on the dis-
play (8). After a short time, the symbol (10)
for the ECO programme will light up.

Protecting the environment

– The ECO programme is the most efficient
programme for cleaning normally soiled
dishes in terms of combined energy and
water consumption.
– If you keep to the maximum specified ca-
pacity when loading your appliance and
you arrange the dishes correctly, energy
and water can be saved (see „Loading the
dishwasher" on page EN-17).
– Manual pre-rinsing of the dishes leads to
higher water and energy consumption and
is not recommended.
– Cleaning dishes in your appliance gen-
erally uses less energy and water than
washing by hand, provided you follow the
instructions in the user manual.
Selecting the dishwashing
programme
It is recommended that you carry out
a test run before the fi rst dishwasher
cycle in order to remove residues from
the manufacturing process and in order to
ensure that the appliance functions per-
fectly. Carry out this test run without any
dishes or detergent.
4. Select the suitable dishwashing pro-
gramme based on the 'programme table',
see page EN-21.

5. Press the P button (4) repeatedly until the
display (8) shows the desired programme
symbol (10) and programme duration.
6. Dishwashing programme
– if you wish to make further adjustments,
continue with „Additional options".
– if you wish to launch it, continue with
„Starting the dishwashing programme"
on page EN-24.

Additional options

You can combine the various dishwash-
ing programmes with additional options.
The additional options must be selected be-
fore starting the dishwashing programme.
