9.10 CHIMNEY FLUE CONNECTION Your pellet stove works through a fume draught forced by a fan. It is obligatory to check that all pipes are realized in compliance with the following regulation on material selection: EN 1856-1, EN 1856-2 e UNI/TS 11278. All must be effected by specialized personnel or companies as provided by UNI 10683:2012. -

BRANDSTOF 10.1 BRANDSTOF • Gebruik pellets van kwaliteit omdat dit aanzienlijk van invloed is op het warmtevermogen en op het asresidu. • De kenmerken van de pellets zijn: afmetingen Ø6-7mm (Klasse D06), maximum lengte 40 mm, warmtevermogen 5kWh/kg, vochtgehalte ≤ 10%, asresidu ≤ 0,7%, de pellet moet goed geperst en weinig kruimig zijn en moet geen resten van lijm, hars en diverse additieven bevatten (er wordt geadviseerd pellets te gebruiken volgens de norm EN14961-2 type ENplus-A1 ). -

• Teveel pellets in de vuurpot, of vochtige pellets, of een vuile vuurpot, maken het ontsteken moeilijk, veroorzaken witte, dichte rook die schadelijk voor de gezondheid is en kunnen explosies in de verbrandingskamer tot gevolg hebben. Men dient daarom tijdens de ontstekingsfase niet voor de kachel te blijven staan als witte, dichte rook waargenomen wordt. -

14.8 JAARLIJKSE REINIGING VAN DE ROOKGASSENLEIDINGEN Reinig deze jaarlijks en verwijder het roet met gebruik van borstels. De reiniging moet door een kachel- en schoorsteenspecialist uitgevoerd worden die de rookleiding, het rookkanaal en de schoorsteenpot reinigt, de efficiëntie ervan nakijkt en een schriftelijike verklaring afgeeft waarin vermeld wordt dat het systeem veilig is. -
