Click the Start button.

Click Control Panel.

Click Printers and Other Hardware.

Click View installed printers or fax printers. If the printer model is listed,

right-click the printer icon.
Click Properties, and then select the Ports tab. Ensure that the Print to the

following port(s): setting is LPT1 (Printer Port).
Windows Me and Windows 2000
Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Printers.

Click Properties, and then select the Details tab in Windows Me and the

Ports tab in Windows 2000. Ensure that the Print to the following port(s):
