Notes for Those Upgrading from a Previous Firmware Version

Bitbox 2.2 can open presets that were created in previous versions of bitbox firmware. However, when loading

presets created prior to bitbox 2.0, not all settings will come over to the new firmware. Presets that are created or
modified in bitbox 2.0 or 2.2 will not work with 1.x versions of bitbox. Therefore, we highly suggest that you backup
your v 1.x presets on a separate microSD card or on your computer before you open them in bitbox 2.2.
Due to changes in how modulation works, modulation configurations that were stored in presets created in 1.x

versions of bitbox will be lost when you open the preset in newer versions of bitbox.
Bitbox no longer automatically saves your changes to the presets as you work, as it did in v 1.x. If you turn off the

module without saving you will lose your work.
