TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
Brake does not stop blade
within 6 seconds
Motor does not start
Angle of cut is inaccurate
Cutting arm cannot fully raise,
or blade guard cannot fully
close
Blade binds, jams, or burns
wood
Saw vibrates or shakes
Contact CTC Service Centre when the problems remain unsolved after the checks above.

PROBLEM CAUSE
Motor brake overheated
from use of defective or
wrong size blade or rapid
ON/OFF cycling.
Arbour bolt loose.
Electric Brake has failed
Saw not plugged in

Mitre table unlocked.
Too much sawdust under
table.
Parts failure.
Pivot spring not replaced
properly after service.
Sawdust build-up.
