7.4 Frequency Analysis

7.4.1 Overview

This module includes Frequency Analysis and Rogue AP Detection.
Frequency Analysis

This function enables you to check the number of signals on each channel and the usage of
channels. Then you can select a low usage channel for this AP to improve the wireless
transmission efficiency.
Rogue AP Detection.

This function enables you to know wireless networks information nearby, including SSID, MAC
address, channel and wireless signal strength.

7.4.2 Checking the Usage of Channels

Choose Wireless > Frequency Analysis.

Click Enable Scan.

Wait for a moment. The following table shows the scanning result.
Green Channel Utilization indicates that the channels are in good condition.

Yellow Channel Utilization indicates that the channels are congested.

Red Channel Utilization indicates that the channels are not available.

