10.1.1 Cleaning the motor unit
Risk of electric shock!
Always remove the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the motor unit (7). Failure
to do so could cause an electric shock.
Do not pour or spray any liquids onto the motor unit (7) and do not immerse it in water
or other liquids. This could cause short circuits which could cause electric shocks or burns.
Warning about property damage
Do not use abrasive or astringent detergents or tools which could scratch the motor unit
(7) surface. This could case damage to the motor unit (7) housing.
Clean the motor unit (7), plastic parts and the power cord (6) with a dry or damp cloth.
Dry the motor unit (7) well.
10.1.2 Cleaning the lid and the measuring cup
The lid (2) and measuring cup (1) can be rinsed as normal. Dry them thoroughly.
10.1.3 Cleaning the blender jug manually
Risk of injury
Never reach into the blender jug (4) because the cutting blades are extremely sharp.
You can rinse the blender jug (4) as normal. To remove stubborn dirt inside the blender jug (4) you can
use a long-handled dishwashing brush or bottle brush.
Then rinse it with clean water and dry it thoroughly.
For stubborn dirt, you can also disassemble the blender jug (4) as follows and then clean it.
10.1.4 Disassembling and cleaning the blender jug
Warning about property damage!
The sealing ring (B) is not dishwasher-safe.
Do not disassemble the plastic base with cutting blade
(C). The cutting blade must stay attached to the plastic
base at any time.

Rotate the plastic base with the cutting blade (C) clockwise to
loosen it and separate it from the glass container (A) (see arrow).
Take care not to lose the sealing ring (B) in the process.

Clean the glass container (A) and the plastic base with cutting blade
(C) in the sink or dishwasher. The sealing ring (B) is not dishwasher-
safe.
