Wire the Volume Control
(skip this section if you do not have a volume control)
1. Connect the twisted pairs from the "volume control" pads on the Active Output board to the
volume control as follows:
• Connect the blue wire to the tab extending from the switch wafer closest to the front
panel.
• Connect the associated black wire to the "com" pad on the board closest to the front
panel.
• Connect the orange wire to the tab extending from the switch wafer closest to the back of
the switch.
• Connect the associated black wire to the "com" pad on the board closest to the back of
the switch.
