MAiNTENANCE
REPLACING THE DRIVE BELT (See Figures 13)
• Ensure that snow thrower is not plugged in.
• Remove the 5 screws (1) that secure the left side plate (2) to the frame of the snow thrower.
Remove the side cover.
• Remove the damaged or broken belt (3) from the impeller pulley (4) and the drive pulley (5)
inside the housing. Discard the belt in the proper manner.
• Loop the new belt around the drive pulley.
• Rotate the rotor with the left hand while positioning the belt on the impeller pulley with the right
hand.
• install the left side cover, and secure it using the 5 screws that you previously removed.
