Summary

The sequence for the ESCON card is:

2074 LAN Adapter Diagnostics

In general to diagnose a LAN problem you need to determine if it is caused by 1)
Configuration, 2) Media, or 3) Failing adapter.
You shouldn't be analyzing LAN problems caused by media. What this means is, if
the adapter doesn't have the proper LEDs on, then the customer needs to ensure
that the media (cables) are certified and attached to working Hubs or MAUs. The
following table defines what is proper:
