Maintenance Battery Battery Check the battery electrolyte level every 50 hours of operation. See manufacturer’s man- ual for instructions. DANGER! Batteries expel explosive gases. Keep sparks, flames, burning cigarettes, or other ignition sources away at all times. Always wear safety goggles and a face shield when working near batteries. Failure to do so will cause serious injury.
