ASIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Personnel

Not specified.
Personnel must:
• Be qualified electricians.
• Have read and understood the operator's manual.
• Be familiar with the operation of the PxtFX active energy management device.
• Know how to do the individual jobs.
Please note the following points:
• The locations of first-aid stations must be known.
• The personnel must be informed about what to do in case of an emergency.
• Their correct behaviour must be regularly checked monitored and
corresponding records must be kept.
The following must be done in case of an emergency:
• Provide first aid to all injured persons.
• Call a doctor or your in-house paramedic.
• Notify your manager.
• Follow the instructions from your managers and first-aid staff.

The device

The PxtFX active energy management device may only be operated in a fully func-
tional state. Before use, ensure that the PxtFX active energy management device is in
good working order.
The PxtFX active energy management device must not be exposed to any shock or
vibration loads.
Independent modification of the device parameters without consultation with
Michael Koch GmbH will result in exclusion of liability.
If the application has a brake, which is not fed by the DC circuit (DC link) in case of a
power failure, this may result in the application working against the unpowered
brake.
