Installation instruction of scale
For IEX scales prepare an appropriate place for installation.
It should be dry, even and rigid
Acceptable operation temperature range -10°C to +40°C
The ground on which the platform is to be placed must be able to carry the
maximal load together with the platform
o IEX scales are equipped with the indicator connected with the platform
o The indicator can be mounted on the table or installed on a wall by means of a
handler.
Scale should be unpacked outside the hazardous area.
After unpacking remove all transport protections:

In order to dissipate static electricity, it is necessary to ground the
scale's indicator.
Places for plugging the wires are marked with "
Before moving the scale to its intended place of use, prepare a conductor for
electrostatic grounding of the indicator.
The grounding conductor should be ended with a loop that is screwed to the
indicator using M4 nut.
In order to ensure constant holding down the loop to the indicator´s housing,
use tooth lock washer.
The grounding conductor should have yellow and green colour with minimal
intersection 4mm².
