INSTALLATION & OPERATION

USB SOFTWARE INSTALLATION

XP and Win7 system
1. Firstly ensure the Power switch on the
rear of the spectrograph is set to 0.
2. Connect the Power & USB cables.
NOTE: Do not switch on the spectrograph at
this stage.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable
to the PC and plug in the power supply to
the mains, but do not switch the power on.
4. Put the CD into the PC CD-ROM,switch
the power on to the spectrograph.A dialog
box should then appear as the following:
5. Select the Install from a list or specific
location (Advanced) option then click
Next>. A dialog box similar to the following
should appear:
6. In the Browse Folder dialog box, find
the USB driver in the CD and install it.
IF your PC is 64-bit, please select USB
Driver-64 bit.
If the installation was successful, you can
skip the next steps, and use this equipment
normally.
