INSTALLATION & OPERATION

CONNECTING THE SPECTROGRAPH

1. Firstly ensure the Power switch on the rear of the spectrograph is set to 0.
2. Connect the Power & USB cables.Connect the other end of the USB cable to the PC and
plug in the power supply to the mains, switch the power on and install the USB driver as USB
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION.
3. Remove the input slit and
output slit covers from the
spectrograph, e.g.:
4. Fitting the light source to the input slit. Then the system will be as Tunable Light Source.
We can supply Deuterium, Multiplex,Tungsten-Halogen and Xenon light source.
5. Fitting the detector to the output slit, we can supply Photomultiplier,Silicon Series
Detectors,InGaAs Series Detectors and so on.
6. Power on the light
source, spectrograph,
Data Acquire System,
using the CTL-C1 or
Zolixscan software to
control the system.
Tighten Screw
Note:
If there are two entrance or exit slits, the monochromator has a transition mirror in it. It ' s locked on
the bottom by one screw to keep the mirror from broken during transportation. Make sure take off
the screw before using.
