Introduction Installation, operation and maintenance manual concerns air handling unit type MAXI, manufactured by Systemair AB. It consists of basic information and recommendations concerning the design, installation, start-up and operation, to ensure a proper fail-free operation of the unit. The key to proper and safe operating of the unit is to read this manual thoroughly, use the unit according to given guidelines and follow all safety requirements.

Maintenance of the MAXI should normally be carried out 3 – 4 times a year. Apart from general cleaning the following should be observed: NOTE! RESET (pos.24 in fig.3 and pos.23 in fig.4). Check if the extract filter must be changed. Check that the By-pass damper is closed. By-pass damper is standard in MAXI 1100 and accessory to MAXI 2000. Check if the fan thermo contact has tripped, shows as Malf. SAF or EAF in the control panel. If necessary, reset it (see page 6 Alarms).
