Description of operating controls

This part of the instructions gives you a brief overview of the available operating and control keys as well as
the inputs and outputs of the Quad.
(1)
Some keys have a multiple function. Each key also has an LED display.
(1) Press this key briefly to activate quad display.
If Quad display is active (LED on), press the Quad key again (LED begins to flash) and
select a channel (1~4) to freeze the picture in full-screen mode.
In playback mode, press this key to freeze the picture in the Quad display.
(2) Press this key to start automatic sequencing mode. A previously defined sequence is
then run through (e.g. camera 1, camera 2, camera 3, Quad picture, camera 4.
(3) Switching to full-screen mode for camera 1.
If you are in programming mode, press this key to move one field to the left.
In playback mode, you can freeze the picture by changing to 2 x 2 Zoom of this
channel and then pressing this key again.
(4) Switching to full-screen mode for camera 2.
If you are in programming mode, press this key to move one field to the right.
In playback mode, you can freeze the picture by changing to 2 x 2 Zoom of this
channel and then pressing this key again.
(5) Switching to full-screen mode for camera 3.
If you are in programming mode, press this key to increase the value of the selected
menu item.
In playback mode, you can freeze the picture by changing to 2 x 2 Zoom of this
channel and then pressing this key again.
(6) Switching to full-screen mode for camera 4.
If you are in programming mode, press this key to reduce the value of the selected
menu item.
In playback mode, you can freeze the picture by changing to 2 x 2 Zoom of this
channel and then pressing this key again.
(7) Press to change to playback mode. You can now watch recorded video sequences
from a connected video recorder or digital recorder.
In programming mode, you can select the detection area in the motion sensor settings.
(8) Press to go into programming mode. Press again to scroll to next page in the menu.
