The Chamberlain Security+ CLLA1 plug-in unit may not be responding to the remote due to one or more of the following reasons:
1. Remote Control Not Programmed: The unit needs to learn the remote control code. Press and release the "Learn" button on the Plug-In Light Control and then press the remote control button to program it.
2. Remote Control Battery Issue: Ensure the remote control battery has power. Replace it if necessary.
3. Incorrect Remote Button Selection: Verify that you are pressing the correct button on the remote that was programmed to operate the light control.
4. Interference or Distance Issues: If multiple plug-in light controls are installed, they must be at least 10 feet apart to avoid electronic interference.
If the issue persists, try erasing all codes by holding the "Learn" button until the indicator light goes out (about 6 seconds), then reprogram the remote.
