WARNING!
The vibration emission level given in this information sheet has been measured in accordance with a standardised
test given in EN 62841 and may be used to compare one tool with another. It may be used for a preliminary
assessment of exposure.
The declared vibration emission level represents the main applications of the tool. However if the tool is used for
different applications, with different accessories or poorly maintained, the vibration emission may differ. This may
significantly increase the exposure level over the total working period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration should also take into account the times when the tool is
switched off or when it is running but not actually doing the job. This may significantly reduce the exposure level
over the total working period.
WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
KNOCKOUT TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS
Use protective equipment. Always wear safety
glasses when working with the machine. The use of
protective clothing is recommended, such as dust
mask, protective gloves, sturdy non-slip footwear,
helmet and ear defenders.
Keep hands and loose items of clothing away from
cutting tools and other moving parts.
Check the cutting tool for cracks or any other signs of
wear before using. Only use cutting tools and cutting
devices if they are in perfect technical condition.
Only operate the device with the cutting tool inserted

into it.
Check whether the nominal width of the die
corresponds to the nominal width of the punch.
Use tool only with knockout dies and punches rated
for the peak output force of this tool. Any other use
may cause injuries or damage to the tool.
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are
less likely to get jammed and are easier to control.
Do not use in or near live electrical panels. Only work
on deenergized electrical panels.
The device does not switch off automatically after
reaching the end position. After the pressing process,
release the ON switch and press the hydraulic
release button.
In the event of problems during the crimping process,
immediately release the ON switch and press the
unlocking button on the hydraulic system. The
valve will open and the piston will return to its initial
position.
Have damage repaired immediately by an authorised
