4.2 LOA10-AES

Model LOA10-AES is a dedicated controller allowing the INTEGRALEED optics perform-
ing Auger Electron Spectroscopy using Retarding Field Analyzer. This unit can also be used
in conjunction with other types of analyzers, such as Cylindrical Mass Analyzer. The unit
consists of a high voltage ramp, a precision sine wave generator, a lock-in amplifier, and a
low noise input coupler with a preamplifier.
All functions of this unit are controlled remotely by our AES software via the USB.
The high voltage ramp supplies a sine wave modulated output signal. The unit comprises
a precision sine wave oscillator with a maximum V
