Troubleshooting

My mattress has a chemical smell.
Place the mattress in a well-ventilated area and
let it air out for several days.
Note: The chemical smell, and all mattress materials,
are non-toxic. This is normal. The mattress materials
have passed US CA Prop 65 tests on lead, cadmium,
and phthalates.
My mattress deflated fully after sleeping on it
once.
Make sure the control dial of the built-in air
pump is in the "Off" position and the manual
air valve is completely closed before using. If
there is a hissing sound or air coming from the
valves, they are not fully closed.
Look for any punctures in the mattress. Use
the included patch kit to seal the punctures
(see page 14).
Your mattress may be damaged or defective.
Contact Customer Support (see page 18).
My mattress deflated by a small amount (10–
15%).
If your air mattress is new, then fully inflate
and deflate the mattress once. This should
fully stretch out the PVC vinyl material and the
mattress should remain firm throughout the
night.
This is normal with extended use (see Keeping
the Mattress Firm, page 13).
If your problem is not listed, please contact
Customer Support (see page 18).
