Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
•
Unplug before cleaning. Only clean the
mattress with a soft dry cloth or mild soap
and water. Do not expose the built-in air pump
to water. Lay the mattress flat to dry after
cleaning.
Note: Never immerse the mattress in water. This will
damage the material and the built-in pump, causing
a safety hazard.
Keeping the Mattress Firm
•
This mattress is made of flexible PVC vinyl
material, which will naturally stretch during use.
All air mattresses will lose some firmness or
slightly deflate over time. Use the built-in pump
to add air to the mattress for 10–20 seconds to
restore firmness.
•
During the first few uses, the mattress will
stretch more than usual and require a small
amount of inflation after each night.
•
Air temperature will affect the internal pressure
of an air mattress. Inflate or deflate the mattress
as needed.
°
If the temperature goes down (such as on
a cold night), the air in the mattress will
compress, and the air bed will become
softer.
°
If the environmental temperature goes
up (such as on a hot day), the air in the
mattress will expand and become firmer.
Preventing Leaks
Keep mattress away from sharp objects and
rough surfaces.
Keep away from pets, as their claws will
damage the mattress.
•
Do not place any air mattress against a wall or
similar surface. The friction from rubbing against
a wall may damage an air mattress' flexible
surface. Nails in the wall may also damage the
mattress.
•
Do not over-inflate. This will shorten the lifespan
of the air mattress.
