smaller sections for treatment
WARNING
Irradiation with Medibeam is no substitute for medical treatment.
You should consult a doctor before using the unit for the first
time.
In case of pain or doubt, discontinue treatment and consult your
doctor.
In a double blind study* of patients with acne vulgaris, blocked pores, pimples in
the face and irritated skin, the following results were obtained after 6 weeks of
treatment:
20 % were healed completely
50 % were healed almost completely
20 % displayed considerable improvement
Only 10 % showed no improvement.
1. Clean the areas to be treated before treatment. Remove any make-up.
2. Irradiate the area to be treated for 6 - 8 minutes with the switch in the CW
position. The treatment can be repeated up to three times per day at inter-
vals of at least four hours.
3. Follow the instructions of your doctor with regard to medication and treat-
ment in addition to irradiation with the light therapy unit.
