To switch the unit off, move the switch back to position 0. The red power LED
will go out, indicating that the unit is switched off. Unplug the unit from the
mains outlet.
The heat pad will switch off automatically after approx. 90 minutes of
continuous use. To switch it back on again, move the slider control to position
0 and then back to the desired heat setting.
Unplug the unit from the mains outlet once you have finished using it.
Plug the unit into the mains outlet. The red LED indicates that the heat pad is
connected to the mains supply. Now press the ●-button and switch the unit
on. The first segment of the LED display for the lowest temperature setting will
light up in red. By pressing the ▲-button you can select the higher tempera-
ture settings, 2 to 6. The selected temperature setting is indicated by the num-
ber of lit segments. When setting 6 is selected, press the ▲-button once more
and the heat pad will return to temperature setting 1.
You can switch the heat pad off using the ●-button. If you switch it on again,
the previously selected temperature setting will still be stored, so long as the
unit remains plugged into the mains outlet.
The heat pad will switch off automatically after approx. 90 minutes of con-
tinuous use. To switch it back on again, press the ●-button.
Unplug the unit from the mains outlet once you have finished using it.
Additional information for the HKF model
The HKF heat pad features a cover with 2 compartments, one for heat pads
and the other for a foam inlay. You can remove this inlay from the cover and
then moisten it (e.g. using a spray bottle) before putting it back in the cover.
You can then use the heat pad with the moistened side resting on the desired
part of the body, providing a more intensive heat treatment.
Please remember that the inlay must only be moistened,
not wet or soaked. Under no circumstances should
you immerse or soak the pad in water.
Additional information for the HKN model
This specially-shaped back and neck pad is especially designed for use on these
areas of the body. It is individually adjustable to your body thanks to hook and
loop fasteners in the neck and hip areas.
