– Then push the base plate (8) towards the saw blade (20)
as far as it will go.
– Retighten the screw (26).
PST 1000 PEL (see figure I):
– Open the base plate clamping lever (7) and push the base
plate (8) slightly towards the extraction outlet (4).
– The base plate has lock-in points at 0°, 22.5° and 45° on
the left and right so that the precise mitre angle can be
adjusted. Swivel the base plate (8) to the desired posi-
tion according to the scale (25). Other mitre angles can
be adjusted using a protractor.
– Then push the base plate (8) towards the saw blade (20)
as far as it will go.
– Close the clamping lever (7) to lock the base plate in the
set position.
Cut Control for mitre cuts (PST 900 PEL/PST 9500 PEL)

To enable you to track the cutting line (Cut Control), the
viewing window for Cut Control (13) has a mark (30) for
right-angled cuts at 0° and a mark (31) for rightward- and
leftward-slanting mitre cuts at 45° according to the scale
(25).
The cut mark for mitre angles between 0° and 45° is propor-
tional. It can also be marked on the viewing window for
Cut Control (13) using a non-permanent marker and easily
removed again.
We recommend making a test cut for precise results.
Cut Control for mitre cuts (PST 1000 PEL)

To enable you to track the cutting line (Cut Control), the
viewing window for Cut Control (13) has a mark (30) for
right-angled cuts at 0° and a mark (31) for rightward- and
leftward-slanting mitre cuts at 45° according to the scale
(25).
When securing Cut Control with the base for Cut Control
(14) to the base plate (8), use the inner marking (31).
When securing the viewing window for Cut Control (13) dir-
ectly to the glide shoe (12), use the outer marking (32).
Bosch Power Tools
The cut mark for mitre angles between 0° and 45° is propor-
tional. It can also be marked on the viewing window for
Cut Control (13) using a non-permanent marker and easily
removed again.
We recommend making a test cut for precise results.
Moving the base plate
You can move the base plate (8) back for sawing close to
edges.
PST 900 PEL/PST 9500 PEL (see figure H):
– Pull the saw blade storage compartment (22) out of the

Switching on the LED worklight
The worklight (15) improves visibility in the immediate work
area. You can achieve particularly good sawing results by us-
ing the worklight together with Cut Control.
Switch on the worklight (15) by lightly pressing the on/off
switch (3). If you press down harder on the on/off switch,
the power tool will switch on and the worklight will remain il-
luminated.
