Brightness
> Use the TUNING / SELECT knob to select [Brightness].
[Operation] regulates brightness in the normal operating status. You can
choose between [High], [Medium] and [Low] brightness intensities. Using the
TUNING / SELECT knob, select a brightness intensity and press it to save.
[Standby] regulates the brightness in standby mode. You can choose
between [High], [Medium] and [Low] brightness intensities. Using the
TUNING / SELECT knob, select a brightness intensity and press it to save.
[Auto Dim] automatically dims the display (with the [On] option selected) to
the Low brightness value after 10 seconds without operating the radio.
When the [Off] option is selected, the display will be permanently lit with the
brightness selected under [Operation]. Press the TUNING / SELECT knob to
save the setting.
10.3 Language
> Open the MENU > [System settings] > [Language] and press the TUNING /
SELECT knob.
> Use the TUNING / SELECT knob to select one of the available languages and
confirm the selection by pressing the TUNING / SELECT knob.
10.4 Factory settings
If you change the location of the device, e.g. when moving house, it is possible that
the saved stations may no longer be received. In this case you can reset the device to
factory settings to delete all the saved stations and then initiate a new scan.
> Open the MENU > [System settings] > [Factory setting] and press the
TUNING / SELECT knob.
> Use the TUNING / SELECT knob to select the [Yes] item to reset the factory
settings and press the TUNING / SELECT knob.
> [Restarting...] appears on the display.
All previously stored stations and settings will now be deleted. The device is
now in the same status as when delivered.
