The „Manual operation" screen appears when:
• the main switch is switched on and
• the key selector switch is turned to the left.

The machine and conveyor belt will continue running
for as long as the button is pressed.

4 .3 Emergency stop bar

(fig . 3/1)
Should it be necessary, for any reason, to switch off
or stop the machine as quickly as possible, this can
be achieved by pressing the emergency stop bar. To
switch on again, release the bar (pull it out) and opera-
te the green „Start button" (fig. 4/3).

Operation

5 .1 Operating the machine

To switch on, proceed as follows:
1 . Set the main switch (fig. 4/2) to position "1".
2 . Insert the enclosed key into the key selector switch
(fig. 4/1) and turn it to the right.
¾ The display prompts you to close the safety cir-
cuit.
3 . Press the "Reset" button.
¾ The machine is now ready for operation.
Attention: The machine will only operate when
• the emergency-stop rail (fig. 3) has been released
(pull out the red rail on the feed table),
• the locking switch (fig. 4/1) has been released,
• the main switch (fig. 4/2) has been switched on
(position „1"), and
• the shredder bin (fig. 9) is fully docked.
