8. Faults and how to remedy them

Fault
Parent unit does not work
Baby unit does not work
Cause
Batteries have run out Charge batteries (see "5. Setting up the
power supply" on page 23)
Batteries wrongly inserted Check batteries
or not inserted at all
Mains adapter not If the batteries have run out, power must
connected be supplied via the mains adapter.
Parent unit is not switched Press on/off button for at least 3
on seconds
Faulty electronics Arrange for device to be repaired by a
service centre
Mains adapter not Connect mains adapter
connected
