Preparation and adjustment includes:
● tables setting;
● blade depth setting.
Set the combined fence as displayed on figure 12. The guide fence 3f can be set perpendicular
or at an angle to the table.
To set the guide fence 3f at an angle, loosen the two thumbscrews 3g, set the fence to the
required angle using the scale 51, tighten the thumbscrews 3g.
To mount the table when sawing, perform the following (figure 15):
● remove the bracket 9 and cutter-block guard 8;
● loosen the thumb nuts 26 and 45;
● join the loading 25 and outfeed 24 planing tables using handle-levers 46 and 49, set
them at the same level as the saw table 23 so that the aligner 47 points at "close"
position of the scale 48 (figure 6, 11);
● locking clamp 28 automatically locks the joined planing tables 24 and 25;
● tighten the thumb nuts 26 and 45.
Blade depth adjustment is performed only when the planning tables are joined
and set at the same level.
Blade depth setting is performed as follows (figure 16):
● by loosening the thumbscrew 54, loose the clamping system so that saw blade 32 can
be easily moved up/down with the handle 22;
● set the required blade depth on the sale 60 by up/down moving the handle 22;
● holding the handle 22 in the required position, fix the clamping system of saw blade by
tightening the thumbscrew 54.
When using the guide fence 3f during sawing operations, set the plate 3s according to figure
16.

11.3 Sawing across the grain at an angle with an attachment
Cross-cutting attachment allows cutting blanks at an angle between -45° and +45° according
to the adjustable scale 3u (figure 18).
To mount the attachment, perform the following:
● unscrew the thumbscrews 3g;
● reposition one of the cross slides 3d to the longitudinal slide 3c;
● mount the turnable bracket 3e.
