CPU Installation Procedures
1. Pull the load lever side-
w a y s a w a y f r o m t h e
socket. Then, raise the load
lever up and open the load
plate.
2. Look for two orientation
of CPU. The orientation
should point towards the
orientation of the socket.
Carefully place the CPU into
the socket until it fits in
place.The CPU will only fit
in the correct orientation.
3.When the CPU is in place,
push down the load plate
and the socket lever to se-
cure the CPU. The lever
clicks on the side tab to in-
dicate that it is locked.
Warning:
1. Do not touch the pins of CPU socket to prevent bending the pins and damaging
the CPU socket.
2. Overheating will seriously damage the CPU and system, always make sure the
cooling fan can work properly to protect the CPU from overheating.
