Switcher Setup
To Set Up Communications

1. Press HOME Setup
Type.
• Use the Com Port knob to select the REMOTE X port that
you want to assign the Ovation to.
• Use the Device knob to select Audio Server.
2. Press Select Device.
• Use the Device knob to select Ovation.
3. Press Com Type.
• Use the Type knob to select Network TCP.
4. Press Com Setting.
5. Use the Client/Server knob to select Client.
• In the Remote IP Address field, enter the IP address of the
Ovation.
• In the Remote Port field, enter 5555. Use this value unless
told otherwise by the Merging Ovation documentation.

6. Press HOME Confirm.
Device Setup
The Merging Ovation must have the OASIS security USB key
installed.
1. Click Settings > All Settings > ApplicationSettings >
General > TCP/IP Connections.
2. Configure one of the IP ports to the following:
• Type: Server
• IP/Name: 0.0.0.0
• Port: 5555
• Transport: TCP
3. Click Settings > All Settings > ApplicationSettings >
Controller Units > IP > (the port selected in step 2).
4. Click Enable.
5. On the protocol list, click Ovation Native.
 
Installation Com Setup
6. De-select Send status feedback via Player selection.
7. Click OK.
