These setup instructions apply to any editors using the Ross
Automation editor protocol.
Requirements
• Editor Interface Software Option
• Ethernet Cable

Switcher Setup
1. Press HOME
Setup
Type.
• Use the Com Port knob to select the PERIPH X port that you
connected the Ross Automation editor to.
• Use the Device knob to select Editor.
2. Press Editor Protocol.
• Use the Device knob to select RossAuto.
3. Press Com Type.
• Use the Type knob to select Network TCP.
4. Press Com Setting.
5. Use the Client/Server knob to select Server.
• In the Local IP Address field, enter 0.0.0.0.
• Leave the Local IP Port field as is
6. Press HOME
Confirm.
Note: The Editor remote enable, or button, must be turned on for the
editor to control the switcher (Home
