    Introduction J85503C-3 This product manual (Select Code 169-790-132) describes the J85503C-3, 3-phase, 400-ampere, 60-Hertz, -48-volt, floor-mounted rectifier. The J85503C-3 rectifier is a member of the Lucent Technologies family ® ® of Lineage 2000 rectifiers. Like all Lineage 2000 rectifiers, it represents a significant advancement in efficiency, space savings, and serviceability.

    Remote Shutdown The remote shutdown circuit permits the shutdown of a rectifier when the transfer (TR) signal is received from a Lucent Technologies controller. When the rectifier is used with a Galaxy or an MCS controller, spare rectifiers can be shut down via the TR signal, resulting in a significant energy saving.
