Validating your Matrox NRG setup

After connecting your NRG device, we recommend you validate your connection setup and network
discovery before you continue.

Description of LEDs

The LEDs on your device provides information to help you troubleshoot. The following describes the
LED on your NRG device.

Front of device

LED color
No LED (black)
Green (solid)
Green (slow blink) A power supply is not functioning.

Back of device

LED color
12V connectors: No LED (black) Output is disabled.
12V connectors: Green (solid)
12V connectors: Red (solid)

Network connector

The network connectors on your product use indicator lights (LEDs) to
provide information on the network activity and presence. The following
describes the different network connector LEDs.
LED color
No LED (black)
Green (flashing) Network activity detected.
Amber (solid)
What it means
Device isn't powered.
Both power supplies are functioning normally.
What it means
Output is enabled and functioning normally.
Output is malfunctioning.
Network activity
No network activity detected
(network cable unplugged).
Speed
Network presence
Transmitting at 10/100
BASE-T.
Transmitting at 100 Mbps.
