LAN antenna supplied onto the con-
nection WLAN ANTENNA (

6) The unit is equipped with an RS-232 in-
terface for remote control . For remote
control of the unit via this interface,
e . g . from a computer (
connect the D-Sub jack "RS-232" to
the RS-232 interface of the computer
(if there is no RS-232 interface on the
computer, use an adapter "USB to
RS-232") .
7) For power supply, use the mains cable
supplied to connect the mains jack
"230 V~ / 50 Hz" to a mains socket .
As an alternative or as a precaution
against power failure, operate the
unit with a DC voltage of 15 V via the
screw terminals "15 V ⎓ " (always ob-
serve the polarity when connecting!) .

3.2 IR remote control

The remote control is operated with a 3 V
button cell (type CR 2025) . If a battery is
already inserted in the remote control,
remove the insulating film (to protect the
battery from being discharged) from the
battery holder . The remote control is now
ready for operation . When you press a
button on the remote control, always
point the remote control at the IR sensor
(
 fig . 2) . Make sure that there are no
obstacles between the sensor and the
remote control .

3.2.2 Inserting / Replacing the battery

1) Push the latch of the battery support
to the right (first arrow in fig . 4) and
pull out the support (second arrow) .

2) When replacing the battery, remove
the discharged battery .
3) Insert the new battery in the support,
positive pole facing upwards . Push the
support back into the remote control .
Never put batteries in the house-
hold waste . Always dispose of
the batteries in accordance with
local regulations .
