Set-up/Basic settings
Note: If the power-on volume is set to the maximum, the volume
may be extremely loud when the system is switched on. This can
result in damage to your hearing.
To adjust the volume in Set-up,
Activate the Set-up menu,
Select the menu item VOLUME SETUP ,
Use / on the rocker switch to select the menu item you want to adjust
and
Press OK 8 or << >> on the rocker switch 7.
The menu item selected will appear in a frame. Now you can adjust the setting.
Use << >> on the rocker switch 7 to adjust the setting.
To help you select the right setting, the volume will increase and decrease as
you make the setting.
Press OK 8.
If you press ESC 9 to exit the menu, the setting will not change and the menu
will close.

Programming the hotkey

The hotkey 4 is the upper softkey on the left-hand side of the display. The
hotkey is a special feature you can use to adapt the TravelPilot to your own
personal requirements. You can select the function of the hotkey from a list of
nine possible functions:
• TA-function
• Route guidance
• Route options
• Last 10
• Dest. memory
• Position mark
