6.2.7. CHANGING THE NYLON WIRE

Dismounting
1. To unscrew the bump head fully, introduce a
screwdriver on the coupling plate and the hole of
the transmission so as to block the piece. Unscrew
the bump head turning clockwise.
2. Unscrew clockwise the bottom part of the nylon
bump head.
3. Remove the bottom cover. Remove the empty nylon
charge and any remaining nylon thread.
Threading the new nylon
Cut approximately 4 meters of nylon thread. Hold the
both ends of the nylon thread, fold in two. Insert into
the nylon charger and coil both ends of the thread in
the same direction but each thread in its groove.
Mounting
1. Block both ends of the nylon thread in the two
grooves and on opposite orifices.
2. Reinsert the nylon charge back into place and
place the two extremes of the nylon thread in the
exit holes provided.
3. Pull each nylon thread until it is sticking out some
12 cm .
4. Mount the bump head by turning anticlockwise.
