Using password protection

Using password protection
Set a password for your handheld to provide greater security. If
your handheld is idle for a specified amount of time, you must type
your password to use it again. You can also activate the Lock screen
manually by clicking the Lock icon on the Home screen. (The Lock
icon appears only after you have enabled a password.) You should
lock your handheld if you leave it unattended.
If you do not want the Lock screen to appear, you must disable your
password.
If you have typed information on the Owner Information screen of
the Options application, it appears on the Lock screen. You should
include your contact information in the event that your handheld is
lost.
