The shelves extend and retract automatically during the downstacking and upstacking
processes. When diagnosing problems or after an aborted run, you can use the
commands in Diagnostics to extend or retract the shelves.
Retracting the shelves might cause the microplate or stack of microplates to drop.
To extend or retract the shelves:

In BenchCel Diagnostics, click the Controls tab.

In the graphical display area at the top of the desired rack, click Stacker, and then
choose Extend Shelf or Retract Shelf. A click sounds as the shelves extend or
retract.
