Before you begin, place the bike on a hard level surface where you have room to work. Lay out the
parts included in this kit and compare to the parts list on the final of these instructions. If any parts
or hardware are missing, contact us immediately at the number or email listed above.
Step 1
If installing the light mount with a headlight guard,
check the thickness of the tabs on either side of the
headlight prior to removing the bolt. If the tab is thick
as shown in the first photo, use the M860S bolt. If the
tab is thin as shown in the 2nd photo, use the M850S
bolt. If installing the light bracket without a headlight
guard, install it with the M850S bolt.
Step 2
Remove the bolt from the headlight mount as shown in
Fig 2.
Step 3
Place an M8 Lock Washer on the M8 bolt. Slide the
"top" hole on the light mount over the bolt. Place a 3/4"
x 3/4" x .319" black spacer over the bolt. Begin thread-
ing the bolt back into the headlight mount.

  • Page 2 Step 4 Fig 4 Tighten the bolt to 18 ft/lbs with the light tab facing downward as shown. We recommend placing the lower hole which is to be used at the front of the mount. The larger hole is for 10mm studs on PIAA lights, while the smaller hole should work for the 8mm studs on lights from other manufacturers.
