Before you begin, place the bike on a hard level surface where you have room to work. Lay out the
parts included in this kit and compare to the parts list on the final pages of these instructions. If any
parts or hardware are missing, contact us immediately at the number or email listed above.
Step 1
Install the side plates to the OEM rack using the hole
locations as shown in Fig 1 using 4 M620S bolts, 8 M6
flat washers and secure with 4 M6 nuts.
Both side plates are the same, however the notches on
the bottom are slightly different sizes. Just make sure
both sides are installed the same direction.
Step 2
After side plate installation, install the angle brackets
using M820B bolts, 2 M8 flat washers, and an M8 nut at
each hole location.
Note the angle brackets go on outside of side plates.
Step 3
Place T3 plate on top and figure out what position
works best for your application. Mark the 4 hole loca-
tion and drill the top plate.
Install the top plate using an additional M820B bolt, 2
M8 FW and M8 nut at each of the 4 top plate hole loca-
tions.
If installing a top box, you may want to drill 4 addition-
al holes near the corners of the tail plate and through
the top box depending on which top box is installed.
In general, larger distance between top box mounting
locations gives better top box stability and endurance.
