Power Source
This system has been designed to be essentially maintenance free.
The only recommended maintenance is to blow out the power supply once a year. Dirt, grinding dust and other contami-
nates can accumulate over time and they deteriorate the power supply's cooling performance.
If the unit is located in a dirty environment the unit should be blown out more frequently.
Data Recorder Module
If the unit is equipped with a data recorder module (this is an optional feature), it includes a battery for clock back
up. This battery will need to be replaced periodically (estimated life of 2 years). To replace this battery: remove the power
source front panel by removing 6 socket head button screws. The data recorder module is retained to the front panel with
3 screws. Remove these screws. The battery is a coin style BR 2325. Slip it out of the coin holder and replace with a new
equivalent battery. Note the polarity on the coin battery holder.
Note: Batteries may contain hazardous materials.
Please follow all local regulations for battery disposal.
Stud Weld Tool
Typically, most trouble stems from the stud weld tool. The stud weld tool should be serviced once every quarter.
Monthly service may be required if use is exceptionally heavy. Please refer to the stud weld tool service manual for mainte-
nance guidelines and instructions.
