Programmed Playback
This makes it possible to program any order of tracks. See
the "PROGRAM" section in the tables below.
The device stops automatically after all programmed tracks
have been played. If the
playback is stopped and the program is deleted. It is also
deleted once playback has fi nished or after approximately
10 seconds as soon as the device switches off automati-
cally.
The programmed tracks can also be combined with the
REPEAT function. After you have programmed and started
the device, please press the REPEAT key up to three times
to use the functions described in the "REPEAT" section.
Function Overviews
1. VCD Functions
• Please switch on your television set.
• Switch your television set to AV mode.
• witch on the device and insert a video CD, as descri-
bed above.
• Press the / II Play/Pause key.
• You can now watch the video clip on your television
screen while the sound can be heard through your CD
player.
Operation VCD Functions
Press ( / II) 1. The device is switched on and the disc
searched.
2. Pause during playback
3. Playback is resumed.
Press STOP Playback is stopped.

Press Skips to the previous track.
(I (2/13))
Press With this key you can skip to the next or
( I (3/21)) next-but-one track etc.
Hold (I / Keep this key pressed down to start the
(2/16)) fast reverse search.
Hold ( I / Keep this key pressed down to start the
(3/18)) fast forward search.
Press MODE Switches between the simple repeat,
repeat all and RANDOM function.
Press NP Switches between "NTSC" and "PAL" video
output systems.
Press PBC Press once :
(Playback PBC switched on, display on the screen
Control) Press twice :
PBC switched off.
Press AUDIO function: selects between the
AUDIO/EQ settings left-hand channel, right-hand chan-
nel and stereo.

Operation VCD Functions
REPEAT Press once =
"REPEAT 1": The current track is repeated
continuously.
Press twice =
"REPEAT ALL": The current CD is repeated
continuously.
Press 3 times =
"REPEAT CANCEL" All functions are
cancelled. Normal playback is resumed.
PROGRAM First press ( ), then PROG. The words
"PROG" and "TRK" appear in the display.
Select the order with the I
(key 2 = +10, key 3 =+1) or with the
keys (16/18).
Select the order directly using the number
buttons (5). For a two-digit number, fi rst the
+10 key and then the units fi gure. Program-
ming is already stored. Press ( / II).
SLOW Select between the speeds 1/2 ,1/4, 1/8,
1/16.
RESUME Resumes from the same position after stop
(see RESUME).
DIGEST Shows the pictures in a small format
(see DIGEST).
ZOOM Used to enlarge a picture section (see
ZOOM).
R/L Switches between the audio channels.
2. CD, MP 3 Functions
Operation
CD
Press ( / II) 1. Device is switched on and the disc
searched.
