TEXT MESSAGES (SMS)
Settings for text messages
This menu can be used to define basic functions for the text messages.
It is possible that not all functions described are supported by every mobile
service provider. Therefore, please contact your local mobile service
provider for details.
Setting up profiles
You can change certain settings for text messages (e.g. SMSC address,
message type and period of validity).
1. Select Messaging SMS settings SIM1 message settings Profile 1 .
2. Edit the entries according to your requirements.
3. Press the On-hook
The setting is saved.
Delivery report
When a text message has been transferred to a recipient successfully, it is
possible to receive a delivery report (transmission report).
1. Select Messaging SMS settings Common settings Delivery Report .
Reply path
The recipient of your text message has the option of sending a reply via
your SMSC if this service is provided by your network.
1. Select Messaging SMS settings Common settings Reply path .
Memory status
You can display how many storage locations are still available for text
messages on the mobile phone and the SIM card.
1. Select Messaging SMS settings Common settings Memory Status .
