• pull out the second pin, getting ready to support the weight of the
hydraulic cylinder with a suitable hoisting means;
To assemble repeat the operations in the reverse order.
Oil leaks from a hydraulic system hose.
4.4.2
In the event of oil leaks from a hydraulic system hose, act according to the
following steps:
• switch the engine off;
• make sure that the hydraulic oil is at room temperature;
If the leak is caused by damage to the structure (cracks or cuts) of the rubber,
the part must be replaced with a new spare part.
If the leak is from a fitting check that it has not come loose. If the fitting still
leaks after it has been tightened, replace the entire pipe complete with fittings
with the relative spare part. Do not replace the defective fitting only because
this involves shortening the pipe length and altering its route.
Oil leaks from a metal hydraulic system pipe.
4.4.3
If there is a leak from a metal oil pipe (area upstream of the block valves) due
to damage to the structure or to the fitting, act according to paragraph
4.5 Hydraulic control device malfunctions.
Solenoid valve malfunction.
4.5.1
One must first of all make sure that the electric control circuit has not been
interrupted:
• by activating the control the indicator light on the connector must switch
on;
If the electric circuit is not damaged one must replace the solenoid valve:
Precautions before disassembly:
• clean the area concerned thoroughly (one must prevent impurities from
entering the hydraulic circuit);
