In the I/O System tree, right-click the discrete I/O device and select Configure.
The Configure I/O Device dialog box appears.

4 In the Configure I/O Device dialog box:
• Enter the I/O device name in the Configure new device field.
• Enter the signal name if desired.
• Click Ok. The I/O device is added with signals.
Note
The name will be stored in the I/O device and used for identification and
addressing.
